Connecticut Project Longevity Housing Program.

The Justice Education Center, Inc. in partnership with the State of Connecticut, Department of Housing (DOH) and the Connecticut Judicial Branch’s Court Support Services Division (JBCSSD), is seeking proposals from eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations to provide housing placement and stabilization services, as necessary to assist individuals and families currently underworking with Project Longevity who are housing unstable, including living in shelters or in places not meant for human habitation (e.g. living on the streets or car) to move as quickly as possible into permanent housing and achieve housing stability.  Services will be provided within the Greater Bridgeport, New Haven, Waterbury, and Hartford areas.

This is an initiative designed to assist individuals who are housing unstable to locate permanent housing through the provision of time-limited housing supports and strategies with the ultimate goal of housing stability.
