Camp Inspire

Camp Inspire is a new initiative of The Justice Education Center, rooted in a long-standing commitment to education, equity, and opportunity for all. Building on the foundation of the Inspire Scholarship Fund, The Justice Education Center acquired the historic Almada Times Farm (Channel 3) Camp in Coventry, Connecticut in June 2024. This 100-year-old property spans more than 120 acres and has served generations of children and families through its connection to nature, learning, and community.

The vision for Camp Inspire is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where under-privileged children, youth, and families can experience the joys of the outdoors regardless of their ability to pay. The property includes accessible trails and seven year-round buildings, two of which are already equipped to serve children and families with special needs. Plans are underway to fully refurbish and modernize the camp while preserving its rich history and purpose.

As The Justice Education Center prepares for the grand opening of Camp Inspire in the summer of 2026, we are deeply grateful for the generosity of our supporters and partners who make this vision possible. Every contribution helps transform the camp into a place where children can explore, learn, build confidence, and create lasting memories in a safe and supportive setting.
