The Justice Education Center regularly identifies issues and opportunities to address them in both policy and programming arenas.
By way of example, several new areas of exploration include the following:
- Create a partnership with a leading hydroponic greenhouse company to enable students to learn about and become involved with “farm to table” healthy food production and preparation.
- Establish biotechnology learning opportunities for middle and high school students in collaboration with area universities and community colleges.
- Develop a national symposium on law enforcement and community wellness designed to share both promising and best practices throughout the country.
